About Us
Our Philosophy
Education is a necessity of a productive life, and we are eager and proud to be responsive to that need. We are energized by the progress and success of our endeavors. We acknowledge our diversity and the need to provide all students with opportunities for a higher education. Since GMBSF was founded, over 300 scholarship awards have been presented. Our vision is to continue to reach out to students around the state, be a network of information and address the increasing demand for financial assistance due to the rising cost of secondary education. Generous and faithful support allows us to make NH students’ dreams of furthering their education come true.
Our Mission
Greater Manchester Black Scholarship Foundation is committed to the future of our children by awarding scholarships to underprivileged yet worthy New Hampshire students, regardless of race, creed, color or national origin.
How You Can Help
01
MAKE A DONATION
No matter how big or small, any amount counts and goes toward our finalncia efforts in supporting a New Hampshire student in their dream of furthering their education and graduating from college.
02
VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
GMBSF is led by a devoted team of people who are passionate and dedicated about seeing our youth of New Hampshire flourish. Volunteering is what has allowed our organization continue on through all of these years.
03
BECOME A SPONSOR
We are able to do our work partly by soliciting new advertisers for the annual greater Manchester black Scholarship Foundation souvenir book. Check out our sponsors who have graciously sponsored our program book and the advertising options that we offer.

Leave a Lasting
Leave a Lasting Legacy
A gift through your will, retirement plan or insurance policy is one of the simplest ways to support GMBSF. These thoughtful gifts ensure that our cause continues to support students higher education and making dreams come true. The first legacy donation was established with the 16th Adelaide Dodge Award from the founding board member. If you’d like to do leaving a lasting gift, please contact an estate planner who can assist you.
